Established in 2002 Jeremy Lewison Ltd provides advice on collecting modern and contemporary art, organizes international exhibitions, acts as an agent in private sales of art and helps artists and their estates with strategic planning. In addition its Director, Jeremy Lewison, writes books and articles on modern and contemporary art.

Jeremy began his career in the art world in 1977. In 1983 he joined the Tate Gallery, London, rising to the position of Director of Collections. He left in June 2002 to found Jeremy Lewison Ltd. At the Tate he gained an international reputation for directing the Tate acquisitions programme, organising exhibitions and for scholarship. He was highly involved in the creation of Tate Modern. Prior to joining the Tate he was Curator of Kettle's Yard Gallery, Cambridge. For ten years he served as a member of the board of the International Committee of Museums of Modern Art (CIMAM), a specialist committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM).
